ComplaintMate began in 1997 as a Windows program for preparing Cook County criminal complaints. It was written for the officers doing the work, by someone who understood what a returned complaint costs at the station and in court.
What started as a desktop tool is now a maintained web application. The charge database is kept current as statutes are renumbered and repealed, the three official Cook County form types are supported end to end, and the system is built so that no identifying information about any party is ever stored.
Today ComplaintMate serves officers and departments who need a complaint that is right the first time. Citations are reviewed and corrected on an ongoing basis, and the tool stays deliberately narrow: prepare the form, print it, keep nothing. Contact us with questions or for department pricing.
